On The Path To Eagle

Just finished helping Mason work on some Merit badges. Half way done with Citizenship in the Nation & Communications. 1 more little thing to do for Aviation & very excited for him to go to his merit badge clinic in January to hopefully get 4 more nearly completed. He is about to become a Star scout and will almost have everything done for Life by the end of January but will have to wait 6 months (the required amount of time as a Star scout).

Sophie Comes Down For Christmas Morning

We put Sophie to bed just after 9:00 pm and Mason and the dog were running around and woke her up again around 9:30pm, from then til almost 11:00pm she just chattered and chattered away in her crib.......so she was a little tired when the kids woke her up for christmas about 7:15am.

It's A Christmas Miracle

I started doing a little updates to my blog the past couple months instead of just picking up from where we were at. Today I did a little more and I am finally up to date again on my blog (It's a miracle!). Hopefully from here on out I will be able to stay caught up and be able to give more details and such on the things happening here in the Arnold home. We had a great Christmas at home this year as a family. It was quiet not being around extended family but we enjoyed it. We made a delicious dinner last night for us( Prime Rib roast, funeral potatoes, fresh green beans and homemade rolls) and as tradition for dessert had snowballs (vanilla ice cream scoops covered in coconut) we then put a candle in each one and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus. We are very grateful for all that the lord has blessed us with and for the sacrafice he gave us of his only begotten son. I look forward to making 2010 a better year than 2009! Merry christmas everyone!

Mason & Mara Say Merry Christmas Eve

Hannah too I just didn't get her picture...she was upstairs.

Let's go shopping!

Here she has my purse and her shopping cart. I put it over her shoulder cause she was having a hard time carrying it (it was heavy), but seh didn't like that idea. Oh yeah and we were very proud of her for keeping these hairs ribbons in all day!

Uncle Nathan

Nathan, Shelli & Jordan
We enjoyed Thanksgiving at Adam & Keely's house this year in Meridian. We were very glad that Nathan, Shelli, Jordan, Sydney & Emily were able to come from Puyallup Washington. It was a great Thanksgiving with wonderful food & family!

Kindergarden/First Grade Fall Program

Just before Thanksgiving &Veterans Day each year the Kindergarden & 1st grade put on a music program. They sing patriotic songs and songs about Thanksgiving. It was very cute. Last year Mara stood up there and barely moved her lips or hands (for the hand movements to the songs). This year she did much much better. Her line in the program was "that's what causes winter, not Jack Frost."

More playtime fun!

Molly is One Year Old!

Molly is such a little doll. We are so glad she lives close by so we can she her grow and play with her.

Ethan and Brinley Halloween Song

By the time I finally got the timing right on my recorder it was the 3rd time they had sang it for me and they were a little done.....but still it's so cute.

My Visit to Utah

I went to Utah to visit my new neice Halle (Manny & Amy's new baby). It was great to visit with Manny, Amy and their super adorable kids Ethan, Brinley and Halle. I also stayed with Tatia and had lots of fun with her for her birthday. We went to the Salt Lake Temple for a session (my 1st time there). Thanks for having me Tatia! That was the last time I'll be visiting her in her apartment as she will be moving into her own new home very soon. Funny thing we realized when I was there this time- that she and Nate live in the very same apartment complex that Manny and Amy lived in when they first got married.
