Dancing Sophia Fourth Of July

Sophie had just started walking this day and she was dancing to my mom's singing. Sooo cute! She loves music and loves to dance.

My parents were lucky enough to be here right at the time that Sophia was taking these first steps and putting them into action. She started walking on her on while they were here and ON the 4th of July!

We borrowed our friends blow up bounce house for something fun for the kids to do together. They loved it. Too bad it was so darn hot. I think Ethan and Brinley would have jump tell they passed out if their parents would have let them. They would get all red and sweaty and their Mom and Dad would have them take a break and have a drink. :0)

July 4th Parade

It was sure hot out, good thing the parade was early. later the kids wanted to play outside but it was too hot to be out for very long.

Caldwell's Fourth Of July Parade

Well it's started to be a tradition that my Mom and Dad from Washington come and visit us here in Idaho for the 4th of July weekend. I think my Mom has been 4 in a row (out of the 4 we've been here) and Dad has been here for 3 of them. In 2008 and 2009 we also got to have Manny and Amy and their kids Ethan and Brinley come from Utah. I really like this tradition ;0). Here we are at the parade in town, afterwards we went to the Train Depot where they have a little water feature that the kids played in, we walked around by the Indian Creek water front area too.

Here I got 2 packages of Chinet Crystal Cups for a total of .74 cents! The ice cream was 2 for $6, but I had a coupon already for $4 off 5 and when you buy 5 of them you get a free movie ticket. So 5 things of ice cream for $11 earns you 1 free movie ticket and another $4 off coupon. i love deals like this. (I have been couponing since July 2008.)

Happy Birthday/Father's Day Jay!

Jay's birthday...also known as Father's Day. We had Keely and the girls over for dinner and ice cream cake. Adam was working :( Jay was really excited about his combination birthday/father's day gift, an Amazon Kindle (electronic book reader).

S'More Camping Fun With Chloe!

While in Washington we were lucky enogh to get to spend a little time atleast with the Larsen kids before they had to go to their Dad's house. On Friday night while we were camping we got to see John, Kelli and their kids, Vince, Angi and their kids and have April and Dan's kids and the Larsen kids visit us while we were camping. Lily even got to overnight camp with Grandma and VuVu.
